Our Youth Program helps create a fun, exciting, accepting youth community. We convey Unity principles through lessons, books, prayer, meditation, crafts and activities. We also reinforce the concept that God is fun!

Chaplain Ministry
|
To Inspire and awaken one another into a greater experience of God & Life.
A Chaplain holds Spiritual space.
A Chaplain prays with those requesting prayer.
A Chaplain listens with Empathy
A Chaplain holds all that is shared with you in STRICT confidence.
A Chaplain stands in faith, trusting Spirit will guide you
Chaplains are available before and after Sunday Service with those who request prayer.
If you are a member of UCC you will receive monthy chaplain calls from your own personal chaplain.
A chaplain must be a member of Unity Christ Church for ONE full year. Complete Chaplain application, & successfully complete 2 interviews.
Complete Chaplain Training, a member in good standing (active, financially supporting and attending UCC on a regular basis, for at least ONE year.
Attend 2 regular classes with Rev. Kelly.

Music Ministry
Kristen Hope Justice
Music Ministry Director
|
Our Music Director, Kristen Hope Justice, is an accomplished singer, songwriter, and musician based in the Atlanta area. A classically trained vocalist from an early age, she has also been writing songs since the age of thirteen and at fifteen co-write, produced, and recorded her first CD. Kristen has played venues from Atlanta to Chicago to London and back since she was fourteen. She has performed in her own original bands, in jazz combos, in choirs and show choirs, in corporate and private events bands, as backup vocalist, studio vocalist, saxophonist, guitarist, keyboardist, and acoustically as soloist.
Kristin discovered Unity in 2005 and has been a member of Unity North Atlanta since April 2008. She has been lead vocalist, band leader, and rehearsal director for Limelight, a corporate, wedding and private events band, since March of 2006. Kristen has also been a choir member and member of the Worship Team at Unity North Atlanta, and has served as guest musician, soloist, and in an ensemble or choir at various New Thought churches in the metro-Atlanta area.
Her original material and current repertoire ranges from jazz to pop/rock to country. New thought principles are at the core of her repertoire and her life. She is currently working on releasing her first solo album of all original material.

Energy Healing Ministry
|
The mission of the Energy Healing Ministry is to provide healing and transformation for ourselves, our congregation, and our community which will result in higher consciousness, improved health, and enhanced well-being of those we serve.
Our vision is to share transformative healing with ourselves and others.
We meet periodically after services for a healing circle, and participate in other ongoing activities within the church’s programs. For information on how you can participate in the Unity of Kennesaw Energy Healing Ministry, please contact Bonnie Hammond. |

| Animal Ministry
|
Animals are our friends, companions, teachers, and healers.
They are angels in fur. They give us unconditional love and acceptance, their undivided attention, and their comfort when we are down.
They make us laugh at their antics and foibles, don't mind being the scapegoat ("the dog ate my homework!"), never hold a grudge, and even take on our "stuff" spiritually.
They live always in the present, don't worry about the future, and forgive the past.
They are wonderful examples that we can all learn from. They give so much to us every single day, that we would like to give back to them in some small way.
We give to a local animal rescue (Mostly Mutts), have a prayer box for animals, an annual pet blessing, scheduled dog hikes, a list of pet businesses in the area, and the occasional announcement for a rehoming.
